HONEYBOT PROJECT

At the beginning of the 2025-2026 season Decode, our FTC team BARNYARD 22993 participated in the annual Honey Festival organized by our school’s agricultural farm, Havat HaNoar HaTzioni. For the event, we built and programmed a special robot that drove around the farm and offered honey samples to visitors. Through this creative activity, we connected the world of robotics with agriculture and shared our passion for technology with the local community. Many children and families were excited to see how robotics can be used in everyday life, and they enjoyed interacting with the robot while learning about both honey and engineering. For our team, the experience was a great example of the FIRST spirit—it combined innovation, outreach, and teamwork, and reminded us how robotics can inspire curiosity and bring people together in meaningful and fun ways.
