Our story
Based in Jerusalem, Barnyard #22993 is a group of passionate students who come together to learn, create, and compete in robotics. What began as a small project has grown into a motivated agile team that thrives from innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving. Through every challenge, we aim to push our limits, support each other, and share our love of the field with our community, and more than anything - build the future of STEM leaders.

FIRST Tech Challenge
FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is an international robotics program where students design, build, and program robots to compete in dynamic annual challenges. Teams collaborate, innovate, and problem-solve while learning real engineering and programming skills. FTC isn’t only about building robots—it’s about teamwork, creativity, and community impact. Through this competition, students prepare for the future while celebrating the excitement of STEM.

Strategy is important to us. We analyze each game, plan our matches, and adapt as needed to do our best.
Our Goals
While trophies are nice, we focus on technical growth, teamwork, and sharing knowledge. We mentor younger students, expand STEM opportunities, and improve as a team and individuals.

How We Work
One Team. Four Specialties.
We may be divided into four parts, yet we always stand as one united FTC team.
Mechanics
Our mechanics team designs, builds, and maintains the robot’s hardware. They develop ideas from basic sketches to working systems, ensuring every mechanism is reliable and competition-ready.
Programming
The programming team brings the robot to life through code. From autonomous routines to driver controls, they develop creative software solutions to maximize performance.
Driving
Our driving team represents us on the field. They combine skill, communication, and quick decision-making to implement strategies and ensure our robot performs under pressure.
Community & Marketing
The community & marketing team spreads the impact of Barnyard in the competition and beyond. They manage outreach, partnerships, branding, and events to inspire others and grow our presence.
